At KU Dining, our mission is to make every guest happy through chef-crafted food and excellent customer service, with an environmental consciousness.

STARTING PAY: $11/hr.

Primary Hours:  Looking for somebody who can primarily work between the hours of 7:30AM-2PM, Monday-Friday.  Other hours may be required to meet the needs of the business.

JOB SUMMARY: 
Checks all invoices to ensure that we have received the correct products and that all merchandise is in good condition. Delivers food and non-food products to required locations on campus using a Union vehicle.

JOB DETAILS:
1. Receive deliveries for The Market, Catering, and Chick-fil-A in the Kansas Union.
2. Assist with putting away delivered products in appropriate storage areas (coolers, freezers, and dry storage).
3. Deliver any needed transfer items from unit to unit using a Union vehicle.
4. Pick up and deliver food from local grocers when needed and as directed.
5. Assist with taking accurate inventory and storage of product.
6. Help maintain cleanliness of 2nd floor storeroom in the Kansas Union, and assist with storeroom areas on other levels of the building.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to perform above average physical requirements of food service including but not limited to standing for long periods of time, bending, and lifting over 40 pounds.
3. Valid driver’s license without restrictions.

THE BEST CANDIDATS WILL HAVE: 
1. Basic food service sanitation skills/experience.
2. Serv Safe certification.
